Papa's Pastaria is a cooking game where you play as a new employee at Papa Louie's pasta restaurant. You take orders from customers, cook the pasta to perfection, and then add toppings and seasonings to create a delicious meal. The game has four stations: Order Station, Cooking Station, Build Station, and Bread Station, where you must work together to create a culinary experience that leaves customers satisfied and eager to return.
Edoardo's heart skipped a beat as he nervously asked Olga to marry him. To his delight, she said YES! Excited to share the news with their friends and family, they sent out wedding invitations to Portallini.
Doan/Utah received the invitation and eagerly RSVP'd. As they began planning their trip, they decided to book a room in Portallini through the Travel Trout website. After searching for a room in the spring, they were disappointed to find that everything was booked solid. But, after switching to "any season," the website surprisingly offered one room available at Papa's Pastaria.
Thrilled to have found a place to stay, Doan/Utah clicked the "book now" button. But, just as they were about to celebrate, the doorbell rang and they were surprised to find a package from Travel Trout waiting on their doorstep.
As they opened the package, their excitement quickly turned to dismay. Instead of a cozy hotel room, they found themselves faced with a Pastaria uniform, an employee manual, and an airline ticket from Burgerburgh to Portallini via Gondol-Air, departing immediately. It seemed that Travel Trout had other plans for Doan/Utah - they had unwittingly booked a job at Papa's Pastaria!
At the end of the game, Papa Louie officiates the wedding ceremony of Little Edoardo and Olga, with family, friends, and many of Papa's customers in attendance.
As you step into the cozy atmosphere of Papa's Pastaria, you're immediately greeted by the aroma of freshly baked pasta and the warmth of friendly faces. The bustling Order Station is the heart of the restaurant, where you'll start your journey as a pasta perfectionist.
As customers arrive, they'll approach the counter, eager to share their culinary cravings with you. You'll take their order, whether in person, from the Dining Room, or via the Delivery Phone, and get to work on crafting their perfect meal. Meanwhile, they'll take a seat in the Pick-Up line, waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for their food to be ready.
As you work your culinary magic, customers might strike up a conversation with the lobby decorations or tap their feet impatiently, hoping their pasta arrives sooner rather than later. But don't worry, every moment counts - if you take too long to prepare their order, those impatient customers might just deduct a few points from your score.
But when you finally present their bowl of pasta, all that hard work pays off! Customers will score their food and react with delight or disappointment. A positive reaction means a higher tip and a boost to your progress, while a negative reaction might result in a reduced star rating or tip. Your goal is to create a culinary experience that leaves every customer feeling satisfied and eager to return.
In this station, you'll be the master chef of pasta perfection! As customers order their favorite dishes, you'll expertly guide their pasta to the pot, stirring with finesse when it's halfway cooked to ensure it's just right.
Now, the challenge: will you be able to meet the customer's exact specifications? Do they want their pasta Al Dente, with a delightful bite, or Regular, with a slightly softer texture? Your attention to detail is crucial, as you carefully monitor the cooking process to ensure each dish is tailored to the customer's taste.
Once the pasta is cooked to perfection, you'll need to drain it in the pot. And here's where your precision comes into play! You can take a gentle approach and let the pasta drain naturally, or if you're feeling confident, you can give it a gentle shake to speed up the process. But be careful - if you shake too vigorously, some of those delicate noodles might escape, and you'll lose precious points.
Finally, with the pasta drained and ready, you'll need to plate it up with precision and care. Drag the perfect pasta to its waiting plate, and voilĂ ! A culinary masterpiece that's sure to delight even the most discerning customers.
The types of pastas are as below:
Welcome to the Build Station! Here, you'll get to unleash your creativity and bring a portion of pasta to life. First, you'll add a rich and flavorful sauce to our freshly cooked pasta. Then, it's time to get creative and add the toppings and seasonings that will make each dish truly unique. From classic combinations to bold new flavors, it's up to you to craft a culinary masterpiece that will delight our customers. Let's build something amazing!
The Bread Station is the fourth and final station in Papa's Pastaria. Here, you bake the breads that customers order alongside their pasta.
Choose from six delicious bread options to place on the conveyor belt. The bread will be baked to perfection in the oven and then cooled on the other side. A special meter will track the bread's warmth, and if it turns blue, it's gone cold! Make sure to get the right bread and temperature combination to earn a perfect score.
Get 100% on this station when you select the correct bread, and it's hot off the oven.
If the bread is correct but gets too cold, you'll lose points based on how cold it gets.
But, if you choose the wrong bread, you'll get a big fat 0% on this station!
Bread Types: Serve bread options like Garlic Breadstick, Cheesy Bread, Focaccia, Poppyseed Roll, Crescent Roll, and Pepperoni Bread.
