Papa's Mini Games Ranked

Alright, I’ll be honest. Whenever I play in Flipverse, I get so caught up managing the restaurant that I genuinely forget it's just a game. It's like I'm out there sweating bullets on my iPad. Just while saucing wings, placing pepperonis on a pizza like I’m performing brain surgery, and constantly switching between stations to make sure no hungry customer slips through unnoticed. After an exhausting shift at any of Papa's restaurants, what's waiting for me? Three precious tickets. Yes, just three. And no, we're not heading to a concert or the theatre. We’re using them to play mini-games. You know what? Those tickets feel like a real reward. In my opinion, not the shop, not the character customization, but mini games are easily the best parts of PL games. Trust me because I’ve played all of them countless times. Some are incredibly fun, while others leave me pulling my hair out in frustration.
Today, I’m ranking Papa’s mini-games from the absolute gems to the absolute headaches. Why am I doing that? So I can save you from wasting those tickets and save them for the better mini-games. Let’s jump in! I’m starting from the bottom of my list.

16. Pizza Pachinko
🎮 Gameplay: Drop the ball, aim for the star hole, avoid obstacles.
📍 Appears in Papa's Wingeria, Papa's Cupcakeria, Papa's Cheeseria, Papa’s Pancakeria
Pizza Pachinko is my (and most fans') least favorite mini game by far. This little evil game is definitely a ticket waster. Trust me cuz I have my reasons. First of all, the gameplay is purely based on luck, and it feels like gambling with no real strategy. And second of all, you can almost never win! So if you enjoy feeling rage and despair go for it and watch your ball narrowly miss its mark. Pizza Pachinko is a nightmare come true and should be illegal (ok, I might be exaggerating a bit).

15. The Shot Games (Cool, Hot, Maple, Saucy, Sundae, Soda, Spooky)
🎮 Gameplay: Shoot at monster enemies by tapping on them
📍 Appears in most Papa's games after Papa's Pancakeria
I'm referring to all shot games at once because they share the same essence in gameplay. It's either shooting syrup, veggies or sauces at foodlike monster enemies.
Honestly, shot games become too easy and a bit bland, particularly on a touchscreen device like a phone or tablet. So my suggestion is to play them once or twice to blow off the steam caused by a closer customer (lol). But don't waste more tickets. All shot games blend together, and none of them stand out exceptionally.

14. Fashion Flambé
🎮 Gameplay: Memorize an outfit and recreate it exactly.
📍 Appears in Papa’s Scooperia
Is it just me, or does my visual memory suck? Because Fashion Flambé lives rent-free in my almost fun but stressful category. It seems simple at first. I just need to remember what the chef was wearing and pick the same pieces. I stare at the outfit like "Got it, ez" and then boom! Total blackout! Was it green? Or red? Were those pants even there? I don’t even know! It ends up feeling more like memory cards than a little break from the Scooperia. So, I ranked it 13th, not for being a terrible mini game, it's just mentally exhausting. In case you want the prize but don't actually feel like playing it, here's a cheat: Snap a quick photo with your phone (or any other second device). Use the photo to choose the correct outfits. Without that little cheat, I don’t think I’d ever win any prize here.

13. Breakfast Blast
🎮 Gameplay: Shoot flying waffles and pancakes before you run out of bullets.
📍 Appears in Papa’s Wingeria, Papa's Pancakeria
Shooting pancakes, waffles, or French toast seems easy, but this game glitches regularly for me. Personally, seeing pancakes turn into weird black squares completely broke the fun for me. Sometimes I can play it without any issue but most of the time frustration level is extreme. That's why it's near the end of my list.

12. Hallway Hunt
🎮 Gameplay: Follow your customer’s eyes in the dark and pick the right door.
📍 Appears in Papa's Cupcakeria, Papa's Hot Doggeria, Papa's Pastaria, Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Cheeseria, Papa's Pancakeria, Papa's Wingeria,
Hallway Hunt feels designed to test patience. Tracking floating eyes in pitch darkness is pure stress. The randomness of overlapping eyes can make it feel unfair, leaving you shouting at your screen, "WHICH EYES ARE WHICH?!"

11. Blender Ball
🎮 Gameplay: Throw a dough ball into the moving star hole.
📍 Appears in Papa's Cheeseria, Papa's Pancakeria, Papa's Cupcakeria
I first played this in Cupcakeria and thought throwing balls into a hole should have been easier than this. The power level changing every time, makes it a bit annoying. Some love it, some curse every missed shot. Anyways. Even if you lose in this mini game, you get some tips as a prize. So, I think it's an OK game. Not the best, but still fun.

10. Jojo’s Burger Slots
🎮 Gameplay: Match the right toppings by stopping spinning slots.
📍 Appears in Papa's Pancakeria
Jojo’s Burger Slots closely resembles a slot machine with a few twists. But instead of relying on luck alone, it mixes in a bit of skill and reflexes. It’s not as random as actual slots in casinos. And not as fast as rhythm games. So it lands a sweet spot in between. I think it's oddly satisfying. You see the toppings, hit the buttons a few times, and boom burger complete. The speeds pick up quickly at each round. Toppings start to fly past quickly. You wait for the right one to line up, your finger hovering over the button… and just when you go for it, lettuce turns into pickles. Still, that’s part of the fun. When you actually nail all three parts perfectly feels just great. I personally like to stack up a bunch of tickets before playing this one seriously. It’s a smart move, especially if you're aiming for those rare prizes. YOu can apply same trick for other mini games as well. But do this especially the games requiring some skill and reflexes like Papa's Raceway or Grab-a Roni. Overall, Jojo's Burger Slots is one of those mini-games that sneaks up on you. It appears on tuesdays at Pancakeria so it ll be your fav day from now on.

9. Spin N' Sauce
🎮 Gameplay: Spin the wheel and try to land on the prize sauce.
📍 Appears in Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Pancakeria, Papa's Cupcakeria
I’ll admit it. Spin N' Sauce is actually fun. But wow, it’s way harder than it looks. Timing that power meter perfectly feels like pure luck half the time. Most people find it maddening, and yeah... I’m one of them. Still, I have a soft spot for Foodini and his whole show vibe. It’s like an episode from Wheel of Fortune, and that charm alone bumps it higher on my list.

8. Customer Cravings
🎮 Gameplay: Match customers to their favorite orders five times to win.
📍 Appears in Papa's Wingeria, Papa's Pancakeria, Papa's Hot Doggeria
Customer Cravings is another memory game, but not the stressful kind like Fashion Flambé. Because there's no timer this time. The cool part is, you already get familiar with most of the orders just by playing the main game. So it's less about memorizing something new, and more about recognizing what you already know.
That said, things do get trickier later on when you unlock new customers and the parade gets very crowded. If you're aiming for rare prizes like the Foodini table, you’ll need to be either sharp or sneaky. A lot of players share cheatsheets on Reddit to help match orders quickly. You can use them or not So if you're aiming rare prizes, go and search them. No judgment here!

7. Mitch’s Mess
🎮 Gameplay: Find hidden items in a cluttered scene.
📍 Appears in Papa's Sushiria, Papa's Hot Doggeria, Papa's Cupcakeria, Papa's Pastaria, Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Cheeseria, Papa's Bakeria
If you have ever enjoyed playing Criminal Case from your mom's facebook account (guilty here) you'll love this. Mitch's Mess is a simple hidden object game you play in Flipverse. It might be a bit difficult to spot the items at first but the layout stays same. So after spending a few tickets, prizes are guarenteed and it's even calming. Flipline waved their other older games here. So , finding random stuff like cactus or Jacksmith ores is surprising. Bonus points for nostalgia!

6. Grab-a-Roni Gondola
🎮 Gameplay: Collect macaroni on a gondola while dodging meatballs.
📍 Appears in Papa’s Pastaria
There’s something really peaceful about this one. You’re on a gondola in the canals of Portallini, scooping up floating elbow macaroni while trying to avoid the occasional rogue meatball. Just you, the water, and some pasta floating. :D
I know some players find Papa’s Pastaria kind of gloomy compared to other Papa's games. It has a slower pace, pastel colors, and softer music. But personally, I find that calming. And Grab-a-Roni Gondola fits right in to that gameplay. It’s not flashy. It’s just a chill little ride that asks for your focus, not speed. This game would have been sold as a zen mini game if it was released as its own in 2025.
In order to win a prize, collect enough macaroni before the ride ends. If you miss a few, you’ll still get some tips. But if you crash into a meatball, and you’re out. It’s forgiving, but not mindless I liked that balance tbh.
It’s only available in Papa’s Pastaria, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. It'd be great to see it return but no. So I’ll happily take a calm gondola ride whenever I revisit Pastaria.

5. Slider Escape
🎮 Gameplay: Slide your way to the star spring without falling off.
📍 Appears in Papa's Scooperia, Papa's Pastaria, Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Bakeria
This one’s definitely a fan favorite. And honestly, it deserves the love. In Slider Escape, you guide a little burger across a maze, gliding in straight lines until it hits a wall. Like you're playing rook on a chess board. The aim is to reach the star without flying off the edge.
What makes this game so fun is how it balances logic with chill puzzle-solving. You’re not racing against a clock or juggling ten things at once. You just take a moment, plan your route, and slide. And when it clicks, when you bounce perfectly into that glowing green star, it feels really good.
It’s also one of the easier mini-games in the Papa’s series, which makes it a welcome break from the high-pressure ones like Fashion Flambé or Spin N' Sauce. Even when the levels get tougher, it never feels overwhelming. Just you, the maze, and a bit of strategy. Plus, those cracker tiles that break after two hits add just enough spice to keep things interesting.
If you’ve ever played mobile games like Tomb of the Mask, this will feel pleasantly familiar. But unlike most mobile puzzle games, Slider Escape doesn’t push you to rush or restart endlessly. It’s forgiving, clever, and kind of cozy. A rare gem in the mini-game lineup, and definitely one I keep coming back to.

5. Freeze-Putt
🎮 Gameplay: Sink a golf ball in as few strokes as possible. Get ace, eagle, birdie or par.
📍 Appears in Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Wingeria
Hands down, Freeze-Putt is the one of the best mini-games. If you loved Wii Sports, you'll immediately click with this. It's mini-golf with clear angles, satisfying shots, and manageable difficulty curves. Landing a perfect hole-in-one (Ace!) gives that sweet dopamine hit every single time.

3. Rico’s Chiliworks
🎮 Gameplay: Connect pipes to guide chili into the bowl.
📍 Appears in Papa’s Cheeseria, Papa’s Bakeria, Papa’s Sushiria, Papa’s Scooperia
If you ever lost an afternoon to Pipe Mania in 2000s, this one will feel like a warm déjà vu. The moment the grid pops up, my brain switches to “plumber mode”: spin that elbow, flip that T-joint, pray I get one more straight piece before the chili starts gushing. It’s the right mix of calm planning and last-second panic, and the payoff is watching that spicy river flow cleanly into the bowl.
I’m not the only one hooked. Scroll any Papa’s thread and you’ll find the same chorus:
“Awesome game.” – EnlightenedEmolga
“Flipline should make a whole game that’s just this.” – Roy from Detroit
Hard agree. I’d happily buy a standalone Chiliworks app tomorrow and noodle away for hours.
Difficulty ramps up just enough to keep things interesting: longer pipelines, trickier starting angles, and the ever-taunting timer bar daring you to click the wheel early if you’re feeling bold. Yet it never feels unfair. Miss a connection? You know exactly where you mis-rotated.
In a series full of memory tests and reflex sprints, Rico’s Chiliworks is my brain’s little zen garden. No frantic clicking, no memorizing outfits, just good old pipe-laying bliss. Give me a mug of hot cocoa, a quiet evening, and an endless stack of chili pipelines, and I’m set. I wish Matt and Tony added this game to more of the Papa's games.

2. Home Run Derby
🎮 Gameplay: Time your swing to hit home runs and score big.
📍 Appears in Papa's Hot Doggeria, Papa's Pastaria, Papa's Sushiria
Nothing beats the crack of a bat when you time a swing just right. As this mini game is first introduced in Hot Doggeria, where you sell hot dogs in a stadium, the theme suit perfectly. In a batter’s box, you'll wait for the pitch, and click or tap at exactly the right millisecond to launch the ball over the fence. Each round, the pitcher mixes up speed and spin, so it never turns into mindless clicking. One pitch is a slow floater, the next is a fast heater. Blink and you’ll whiff.
I would also rank this among the easiest Papa’s mini-games, but easy doesn’t mean boring. There’s a sweet rhythm to it. You start counting in your head, and the bat meets the ball with a satisfying thwack. When you string together back-to-back homers, you'll say, "Let's spend another ticket in the stadium". Honestly, if Flipline released a full arcade spin-off with different stadiums and bonus challenges, I’d play it in a heartbeat.

1. Papa’s Raceway
🎮 Gameplay: Race against customers, dodge obstacles, and collect coins.
📍 Appears in Papa's Bakeria, Papa's Donuteria, Papa's Cheeseria, Papa's Sushiria
Papa’s Raceway roars into the #1 spot on my list, and yes (you can blame my lifelong weakness for anything with four wheels and a finish line.) From the moment the light goes green, the entire restaurant sim vanishes for me. And I’m suddenly in a kart, leaning into every turn like the screen can feel it. A quick flick of the mouse (or swipe, if you’re on tablet) and I'm darting between cones, dodging oily skid marks, and grabbing coins that give just enough boost to slingshot past the customer in the banana roadster. And I love that you should risk it for rewards. If you hug the safe inside lane you collect nothing! One race, everything lines up, you blast over a boost pad, and the crowd in your head is cheering. Next race you clip a cone and watch your rivals zoom ahead while you mutter, “One more ticket.” I know not everyone loves Raceway. Some have valid reasons like loose handling, and some fans think car games genre is a whole other thing Matt and Tony would have avoided. But I don't agree Papa's Raceway never felt scripted to me. Every time I ended a day at restaurant and played, it felt fresh: I guess it's the closest thing Papa’s games have to Mario Kart-style chaos. For a mini-game that lasts barely a minute, that’s impressive torque and exactly why it laps the rest of the field in my rankings. Do you agree or disagree? Did I skip any of your favorites?
